Can I really make a difference?
When you join forces with other people who volunteer their time and talents to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the answer is most definitely “YES.”
Each year, St. Vincent de Paul helps thousands of families in New Mexico with food, utilities, rent, and clothing. How is this possible? Volunteers!
Our volunteers come from every religious, ethnic and economic background imaginable. Some volunteer once a week, some volunteer once a year; however, volunteers share one thing in common: they want to help improve the lives of the individuals and families we serve.
If you live in Albuquerque, there are many ways you can volunteer at our Thrift Store and Clearinghouse. We need volunteers to help sort donations, hang clothes, price items, stock store, work in linens, test electronics, customer service etc… If you are interested, please call (505) 346-1500 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you live outside Albuquerque and wish to volunteer at one of our other Thrift Stores, please see our “Thrift Stores” site for contact and location information.
If you are interested in volunteering with a parish conference, please contact your parish directly or call (505) 346-1500 for more information.
